Our Programs and Events

Our Beyond the Bin Recycling Events provide an opportunity to increase your knowledge on how and where, right here in Delaware, you can recycle many household items that aren't allowed in your curbside recycling bin.  We also are a collection site for Terracycle, which offers collection for even more recyclable items that are not avilable to be recycled anywhere in Delaware.

Our events happen at local grocery stores, local fairs and festivals and other  community events around the area to spread the word.

In the meantime, if you would like to recycle any of the items listed on our Terracycle Recycling list, Contact Us and we can arrange a time to drop items off in our base location.  Make sure and sign up for our newsletter to stay informed on future events.

We have various service projects going on around the state to help green our community.  Activities include helping out with our recycling events and educational programs, manning booths at local fairs and festivals, outdoor trash cleanups, tree planting and more!

Our educational programs are created to help educate schools, civic groups, neighborhoods and more on creative ways to help reduce, reuse and recycle beyond just recycling the most well-known items in their curbside recycling bins.  The programs are fun and interactive and tailored to the age and interests of the participants. The intent of these programs is to not only educate, but to also empower each participant with the tools to make a significant long-term difference in their communities. 

School Program - Grades 4-12

Learn the importance of "recycling right" at home and at school, how to recycle additional items that can't go into your recycling bin, and how to harness the other two R's - reducing and reusing - in your classroom and school to be a 3R hero! Churches, Civic Groups and Neighborhoods

Up your groups 3R quotient with a greater understanding of what you can and can't put in your recycling bin, what additional items can be recycled here in Delaware through other avenues, and additional simple ways to harness the other two R's - reducing and reusing - to take your group's environmental goals to the next level!
